Description of the Offer

Excursions from Fez Visit of Fes (a day)
Day dedicated to the visit of the most ancient imperial cities, based at the year 808 by Idriss II.You will visit the most beautiful and most important souks of Morocco.
In the afternoon continuation of the visit: Merdersas Bou Anania and Attarine, the famous fountain Nejjarine, the Karaouine Mosque,the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum,  founder's of the city and the Dar Batha museum.

Fès / Volubilis / Moulay Idriss / Meknes / Fès ( a day )
After the breakfast you will go to Volubilis and visit its Roman ruins, continuation towards Moulay Idriss, holy city of the Muslims, where is the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, first founder of the dynasty Idrisside. Then direction towards Meknes (lunch not include), in the afternoon visit Meknes city: Bab El Mansour, the Mellah, the Place El Hdim, Moulay Ismaïl's mausoleum, founder of the city.The ancient stables, ponds of Souanis and souks. Return to Fes.

Sidi Harazem (half day)
In the morning or afternoon, you will visit the health resort of Sidi Harazem. In 15 km from Fes, this thermal spring is known for its therapeutic properties against diseases of loins and liver.

Moulay Yacoub (half day)
In the morning or afternoon, you will visit a center of cure of Moulay Yacoub. Situated in 20 km on the West of Fes, in a case of greenery in the spring which is transformed into desert landscape in summer, this health resort is considered as its sulphurised waters which look after rheumatisms and cutaneous diseases. Thermal baths also propose pleasant programs of fitness.

Sefrou - Bhalil
Berber city situated in around thirty kilometres from Fes, Sefrou is known from the XIIth century. It is then a meeting place between the North of the country and the valley of Tafilalet in the South. Sefrou is appreciated for her waterfalls, the variety of its landscapes that we can admire from Sidi Ali Bousserghine's sanctuary. Today, Sefrou is an important agricultural center which shows the wealth of its productions during the celebration of cherries on June.
In some kilometres, by a road which climbs in the middle of oliveraies, we arrive at Bhalil, famous for its troglodytic houses. 

 

The medium Atlas mountain
To join Ifrane, we cross very frequented Immouzer Kandar's town the summer for its climate more moderate than Fes. Then we make a bend by the surprising lake Dait Aoua where we can admire either the surrounding hills which are reflected in its waters, or riders who take it for a playground.
Arrived to Ifrane, we are surprised by the unusual aspect of this city. With its sloping roofs, its fireplaces, its plentiful flower massifs, its chestnut trees, the city looks like a small part of Europe. The road continues towards the ski resorts of Michlifen and Jebel Habri. Then coming down towards Azrou, we make a stopover at the cedar Goureau. There, we can see sometimes one of the savings which live in this forest. This stroll can last one half-day or a little more according to the time past to admire the diverse landscapes: forests of green oaks, cedars, fields cultivated in the middle of stones, orchards …

 

Meknès
This excursion of one day begins with the crossing of a fertile agricultural region: culture of cereal, vegetables, production of oil … Arrived at the collar of Zagota, the road makes a commitment in forests of eucalyptus, plantations of olive trees, fig trees. We discover a vast plain where are the ruins of Volubilis.After,spending one hour to admire the ruins of this Roman city, the journey continues towards the holy city of Moulay Idriss. To see: the panorama and the round and white minaret, decorated with verses of the Koran in green mosaics.
At your arrival in Meknès, we have a magnificent sight on the Medina. The visit begins with the tour of ramparts : Bab Berdaïne, Bab Khémis. We continue the discovery of the city by stables ( Roua), attics ( Héri), and the Haras. Stop is indispensable to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismaïl which was for a very long time the only mosque where the not Muslims could enter in Morocco. We go out through the famous Bab Mansour. On the other side of the place, the museum of Moroccan Art "Dar Jamaï "offers a big variety of crafts. We can promenade in the Medina before returning to Fes.
