Mountain biking in Northern Central high Atlas

PROGRAM

Day 1 :MARRAKECH:
  Arriving at Marrakech. Transfer from the airport to the hotel or guesthouse in the centre of the medina.

Day 2 :IMI N'IFRI, TIZI N'AMARSKINE, IMI N'WAQQA:
  In Northern slope of the High Atlas, Demnate and the natural bridge of Imi n'Ifri(1100m). Lunch in this exceptional site before the start of the raid. The First pass tizi-n'-Amarskine(2012m). Then descent into Imi n'Waqqa(1817m) across many Berber villages. overnight in a guest house or with the inhabitants.

150 km between Marrakech and Imi n'Ifri. Biking: 38 km of track.
Stony ground.
Dénivelées: +1390 m-690m.

Day 3 :TIZI-N'-TIGHIST, ABACHKOU AND the VALLEY of AÏT BOU GUEMEZ:
  Crossing the tizi n'Tighist (2399m) ,famous for its rock carvings. Descending to the Abachkou with splendid dazzling colors. Lunch on the riverside. In the afternoon, we carry on until Aguersif before joining Agouti(1760m) the first village in the valley of Ait BouGuemez.
Night in a cottage with a view of the valley.
51 km between Imi n'waqqa and Agouti. Biking: 51 km of track.
Terrain: hard sand and pebbles.

Day 4 :TIZI-N'-TIRGHIST, TIZI N'TSALLI, TIZI N'ILLISSI, ZAWYAT AHANSAL:
  In 4x4, the runway of Berber villages and the rise to tizi-n'-Tirghist (2700m) for ATV departure. Fullday in the high mountains. Panoramic view of the massif. Lunch at the foot of Jebel Azourki. In the afternoon, to tizis-n'-Tsalli (2767m) and n'Illissi (2664m) before going down in a zig-zag through the valley of Zawyat Ahansal (1582m). The night in a cottage overlooking the circus Zawyat. 71km between Agouti  and Zawyat Ahançal. BIKING: 56km trail for those who start at the pass. 
Dénivelées: +1380 m-1700m.muddy land but easy.
 

Day 5 :TIZI N'TAGGOURT, AMESFRANE THE CATHEDRAL:
  Along the assif Ahansal before getting in the middle of the pine forest, until tizin'Taggourt(1912m) for lunch. The afternoon descend into the famous Cathedral Amesfrane (1171m). overnight in a guesthouse at the foot of the cathedral.

43 km between Zawyat Ahansal and the Cathedral. Easy plot, a stony passage.

Day 6 :TIZI N'AÏT ISHA, OUAOUIZAKHT:
  A small Col (1450m) before Tillouguit (1220m), a larger one  after Tizi-n'-Aït Isha (1802m). Lunch close to the source. In the afternoon a panoramic view of the lake and its surroundings before descending to Ouaouizakht (1250m). Night in the lodging at the lake. 55km between Cathedral and Ouaouizakht. ATV: 45km track, 10km of paved road. 
Dénivelées: + 955m,-950m.Terrain easy.

Day 7 :the waterfalls, MARRAKESH :
  Small roads to the waterfalls of Ouzoud, then, to Marrakech. You can ride up to Azilal before getting into the 4x4. Lunch at the waterfalls. The afternoon 4x4 back to Marrakech. End of raid ceremony. Riad or hotel in the heart of the medina near Jemâa El Fana. 200km between Ouaouizakht and Marrakech. BIKING: 30km road .

Day 8 :MARRAKECH
  Transfer and assistance at the airport.

Temperature : 20° to 25° Days &  10° to 15° at night.

Period : May to October.
Hours of VTT : 3 to 6h.

Level : Medium.

N.B.:  possible departure of Ouarzazate (by Tzi n-Fedghat).

It is a race without much technical difficulty notable. You must be in a good physical condition and be able to ride 3 to 6 hours each day, with a quiet pace. It was always a light backpack with the bare minimum (gourde, food race, camera ...) All baggage and food are transported by the 4x4 assistance. In the event of a medical problem, it is still possible to use an additional vehicle to evacuate local (Liability coverage of the agency). However, it's worth noting that the terrain is not flat, it is sometimes necessary to climb a hill to climb, which you can find some stages a bit long ... In short, you will experience physical sensations, for sure, we must have the desire and spirit to discover and sports.
The itinerary can be subject to modifications imposed by the average level of the group, or by climatic conditions.

 Your own bike (to be deducted from the price), sleeping bag, a big bag for clothes, a small backpack for the day, a sleeping bag, walking shoes, basquets, sandals for the bivouac, a Kwe, polar, personal medicines, a bottle (1 litre or 2 litres), tablets to purify water, sunscreen, a pair of sun glasses, hats, cameras, a flashlight (front), spare batteries, toiletries kit and other personal effects.
