Raid VTT: Ksour, palm grove and desert
Desert, kasbah, oasis: the luminosity and the beauty of the landscape are splendid.Through the valley of Drâa and its old track of the caravans of gold and slaves, we will discover the palm groves of Draa, Hamada to the dunes of Chegaga. Nomads: blue men, accomodate you with a cup of tea.

|
PROGRAM
Day 1: MARRAKECH / OUARZAZATE
Arriving in Marrakech. Transfer from the airport to the hotel or riad in the heart of the medina. According to the time of arrival, you can visit the city of Marrakech and Ouarzazate.
Day 2: MARRAKECH, AÏT BENHADDOU, OUARZAZATE
Departure from Marrakech direction southern Morocco. In 4x4 through the High Atlas by the pass of Tizi-n'-Tichka. Visit the ksar Ait Benhaddou. One night in a hotel with a pool in Ouarzazate.
30 km runway. Easy Plot
Day 3: OUARZAZATE, GORGES OF DRÂA, PALMERAIE OF MEZGUITA,
TAMNOUGALT
On the way south, toward the Draa Valley, Aït Saoun up, and then track the Draa Gorges that will lead us to the palmeraie of Mezguita. Black basaltic rocks, lunch by waterfalls. Downhill the gorges carved by the wadi, crossing first Berber villages,then,arrive at Agdz (896m) where broad valley. Continue to the village of Tamnougalt (874m) and its beautiful Kasbah.
Overnight in the Kasbah. 45 km from the runway. Easy Plot.
Day 4: TAMNOUGALT, PALMERAIES, ZAGORA
We take a runway at the Draa Oued to the Tansikht dam, while crossing the big palm trees. where we can meet many Kasbahs along the road. Pic-nic at the edge of the wadi. In the late afternoon we joined Zagora 4x4 (724m).

Day 5: ZAGORA, TAMEGROUT, IMI N'TAKAT, TAGOUNIT, ERG LIHOUDI
After Zagora, the desert looks strong. We visit the famous library of the Tamegrout Zouïa. Passage by the pass Imi n'Takat, chosen by caravans and South to Tagounit. Hamada is a small oases. Good sandy road drive. Continuation 4x4 to Erg Lihoudi, at the foot of Jebel Bani. Night in nomad tents. dance and Nomad music in the dunes. 50 km runway. Easy Plot.
Day 6: ERG LIHOUDI, CHEGAGA
Farther south until Chegaga. The real desert. Meeting of nomads with their herds. Lunch at the Sacred Oases and the bivouac dunes Chegaga.
Bivouac in the erg, nomadic tents.
48 km runway. Easy plot.
Day 7: CHEGAGA, MARRAKECH
A long day of 4x4 with a beautiful bike road will allow us to discover the top places in the extreme south, including the Lake Iriki. We arrive at Foum- Zguid, then Tazenakht, before returning to the road of Ouarzazate
Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech. Night hôtel-riad.
Day 8: MARRAKECH / OUARZAZATE
Depending on the time of departure, visit the city or transfer to the airport.

THE LEVEL OF THE EXCURSION |
|
|
It is a raid without special notable technical. You must be in a good physical condition and be able to ride 3 to 6 hours each day, with a quiet pace. It is always a lightweight backpack with the minimum bare (gourde, food race, camera ...) All baggage and food are transported by the 4x4 assistance. In the event of a medical problem, it is always possible to hire an additional vehicle to evacuate local (Liability coverage of the agency). However, we should know that the ground is not flat, it is sometimes necessary to mount to climb a hill, you will find some stages a bit slow ... In short, you will experience physical sensations, for sure, and we must have the desire and spirit to discover and make sport.
The itinerary indicated may undergo changes imposed by the average level of the group, or by climatic conditions.
