Dec 27 - Day 1: Take-off for Ouarzazate. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner and ovenight. The flights usually arrive towards 23h15, this first evening a dish is served at the room. Hotel 3*.
Dec 28 - Day 2: Departure the morning in 4x4 with driver from Ouarzazate for M'hamid (250 km = approx. 4 hours of road), passing by the valley of Drâa and its thousand and one kasbahs, skirting a palm grove on more than 200 km. Passage by many villages (Agdz, Tansikht, Tinzouline, Beni Zouli..) and Zagora City. Arrival at M'hamid, the last big village in the desert, here is end of the asphalt road. Lunch in a fixed bivouac or a hotel at M'hamid. Afternoon: departure in the caravan, to discover the desert, we will live a true life of nomads. Possibility of alternating walk and riding dromedaries, night in bivouac. The meals are prepared on the gas or wood fire, by our experienced cooker assisted by your guides/camel drivers. The experience of the caravan is an ideal way to discover the desert and the life of the nomads. You will be accompanied by people originating from the desert, who will be happy to make you discover their habits & land.
Dec 29 - Day 3: Continuation of the caravan. approx. 2.5 hours of walk (or dromedary) the morning, then idem the afternoon, after a long pause of relaxation for the lunch. The camel drivers respect the rhythm of each one, and the evolution of the caravan is done according to the capacity and the endurance of people.
Dec 30 - Day 4: Continuation of the caravan. The crossing of landscapes make it possible to discover and appreciate the diversity of the desert: sometimes stone extents, then appearance of a vegetation, or of small or large sand dunes.
Dec 31 - Day 5: After breakfast the caravan continue its path. Lunch in the desert. Arrival in the afternoon to the Oasis, where dinner and night in camp.
The Crowned Oasis of Oum Lâalag is located in the desert, with approx. 50 km of M'hamid and extend on 15 ha; it is an ideal place of relaxation, within an idyllic framework, with palm trees, spring water, local biological culture and park with animals. It presents an infrastructure of quality: tents for the restaurant and the nights, showers, as well as a kitchen, the whole built out of solid materials. Rest and preparation for the great evening.
Dec 31 - the Midnight supper is under a starry sky in the middle of the Oasis around a large fire. A delicious traditional dinner will be served, including a lamb barbecue (whole sheep cooked with the wood fire in a special cob furnace), then the dishes furnished with couscous and the fruits of season, as well as Moroccan pastries. Evening with folklore, night in bivouac at the Oasis on the rhythm of the desert music. (Drinks, Champagne, wines, brandy... at will)
The Sahara in all its Splendor
Jan 1 - Day 6: Birth of the New year in an environment of peace and serenity.
Discovery of the place in the morning; after lunch departure by 4 X 4 to the Dunes of Chgaga (12km) to appreciate the sunset. Dinner and night in the bivouac of St Exupéry at the foot of the Dunes.
Jan 2 - Day 7: Possibility of attending sunrise on the dunes, breakfast then return by the track to M'hamid for lunch. The afternoon, we will go up by Zagora and Agdz to Ouarzazate. Transfer to your hotel at Ouarzazate. Dinner and night.
Jan 3 - Day 8: Transfer and assistance at the airport for the return flight.
