Trip
program
Day 1: Marrakech
Arrival transfer. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Marrakech / Ait Bouguemmez (2126m)
Transfer in 4x4 vehicle to the happy valley. 6 hours driving. Overnight at the lodge in the village of Zawyat Oualmezi.
Day 3: Zaouiat Oualemzi / Ait Ziri (2200m)
Down the valley of Ait Bouguemmez. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Ait Ziri / Abchkou (1700m)
After 1 hour walk we leave the last village of Ait Bouguemmez to enter that of AitBouwoulli (People of the sheep). Climb to the village of Abachkou. 6 hours of walking.Overnight at the lodge or tent.
Day 5: Abachkou / Agourram-n-Tifrte (2440m)
Rise of the Ouad Rougoult and the eastern slope of Jebel Rat. 6 hours of walking.Overnight at camp.
Day 6: Agourram-n-Tifrte / Tassaoute Gorge (2400m)
To reach the valley of the Tassaoute we crossed the pass of 2900m Rougoulte. 4 hours walk. Overnight at camp.
Day 7: Gorge Tassaoute / Tarkeddite (3000m)
Climb to the areas of nomadic Central High Atlas. Nice pass in the cliffs (no difficulty).View of the chain. 6 hours of walking. Bivouac or overnight at the shelter.
Day 8: Tarkeddite / Oulilimte (2400m)
This step has two variants:
Trail-ordinary mules. 6 hours of walking
Ascension of the top of M'goun easy (4071m). 9 am walk.
Day 9: Oulilimte / Ain Aflafal (2300m)
It follows the massive M'goun and these impressive walls. 5 hours of walking. Campand overnight at the shelter.
Day 10: Ain Aflafal / Ifkkirne (1800m)
Change of slope, landscape and population, the valley of M'goun, another tribe of the High Atlas, farmers and nomads, whose traditions are different from those of the tribes of northern slopes. 5 hours of walking. Camp.
Day 11: Iffkirene / Taghzout
Step lively and varied, near fields of corn and potatoes, we go in the gorges ofM'goun (water). 4 hours walk. Camp.
Day 12: Taghzout / Aguerdzga
Also in the gorge with M'goun wading all day. The stairs and passages are impressive gorges (Ajarbo). 5 hours of walking. Camp.
Day 13: Aguerdga / Boutaghrar
Exit to the south of the Atlas landscape and bright light in the south announced the approach of the pre-Saharan areas. They are not far from the valleys of Dades, Draaand Saghro. Further the sand dunes of Mhamid el Ghouzlane and those of Merzouga.
Day 14: Boutarghrar /
Marrakech or Ouarzazate
Minibus transfer to Marrakech or Ouarzazate and
visit the city in the afternoon.Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your
departure flight (2 hours before departure).

THE LEVEL OF THE EXCURSION |
|
|
It is about
a Trek without notable technical difficulty. It is necessary to be in good
physical condition and to be able to go 5 to 6 a.m. each day, with a quiet
rhythm. There is always a light back bag where the take minimum (gourd, food of
race, camera...) All the luggage and food are transported by the mules. When a
medical problem (distortion for example), it is always possible to call upon a
mule. However, it should be known that the ground is not flat, that it is
necessary sometimes to go up to climb a collar, that you will find certain
stages a little long... In short, you will have physical feelings, it is certain,
and it is necessary to have the desire and the spirit of hiking and walking.
The
itinerary indicated will be able to undergo modifications imposed by the mean
level of the group, or by the climatic conditions.

EQUIPEMENT TO BE ENVISAGED |
|
|
A slipping
bag, a large bag for clothing (please bring only necessary clothes for your
trip, in order to help dromedaries for carrying luggage), a small back bag for
the day, walking shoes, crates, sandals for the bivouac, Kwe, polar, Wind coat,
personal drugs, a gourd (1 litter or 2 litters), pastilles of water
purification, sun lotion, a pair of sunglasses, cap, camera, a torch (frontal),
spare batteries, toilet bag and other personal effects.
