PROGRAM
DAY 1 :
arrival at MARRAKECH or OUARZAZATE. Assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The evening, the first contact with the city and the first moroccan meal at the hotel.
DAY 2 :
Start at 7 H morning by the Tichka pass (if arrived in Marrakech) (2260 m, snowy winter), then Ouarzazate and the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs, Valley of the Roses, Dades Valley. Lunch at Ouarzazate or Kalaâ M'gouna, and 20 km of track in a desert plateau to reach the village of Tagdilt (1600 m). A total of 350 km and 7 hours driving (from Marrakech), or 3 hours driving (from Ouarzazate). Night in lodge.
DAY 3 :
TAGDILT - ALMOU N'OUARG Approximately 6 hours of walking.
Meeting with the team of muleteers, loading baggage camping and food. Departure to Ouazerzam, then the path goes up by the Tislit N'Ouzerzam. We meet some nomadic families of Aït Attas, before and after the pass (2450m), from where we can see the beautiful mountain range parallel to Saghro and the snowy peaks of the High Central Atlas mountains especially with the M'Goun (4068 m). Camp at 2300 m.
DAY 4 :
ALMOU N'OUARG (2300 m) - TASSEGDILT - IGGLI. Camp (1700 m). About 5 H 30 walk.
This is the most beautiful and most spectacular day,it begins with a rise toof 2600 m to reach the highest peak of the journey, Kouaouch at 2600 m, then a long descent to Tassegdilt (2200 m), with a beautiful view of the mountains ( Atlas and Saghro). Lunch at Tassigdelt before heading towards the camp Igli (1700m), which is a beautiful oasis.
DAY 5 :
IGGLI (1700 m) - AFOURAR - GORGES - BAB N'ALI - OUSDIDENE (1300 m) About 4 H walk.
This will be a beautiful day. The trail climbs gradually and then we go to Afourar valley with a natural pool. You can go swimming, diving ... Then down the gorges of Afourar, beautiful descent without any technical difficulty, lunch will be on arrival at the camp. The afternoon,a visit of a small waterfall at 40 camp, beautiful site to rest.
DAY 6 :
BAB N'ALI - ASSIF AMGUIS - IRAAZZOUN - TIFDASSENE. About 6 H walk.
We leave the charming little oasis of Bab N'Ali for up to the famous natural door of Bab-n-Ali (two large rock pitons separated), then long descent to Amguis, an oasis with a few houses. Lunch at Ighazzoun N'Imlas before descending to the plateau of Tifdassine (1300 m). Camp.
DAY 7 :
MARRAKECH
We leave the palm of Assif N'Tifdassine to arrive at the date palms of Handour (harvest in November / December), or we come after two ½ hour walk. Around 10 H, we will find our vehicle fto return by Draa Valley, which is a large palm, then Agdz and Ouarzazate. Lunch at Agdz before making the road to Marrakech where we arrive around 17 H. Overnight in Marrakech.
DAY 8 :
Transfer to the airport for departure.
