On the footsteps of nomads - Tagdilte – N’koub -8 days
4 days hiking with mules crossing the Saghro mountain from Tagdilt to N'kob. The landscapes of rock mountains and nice views on the snowy High Atlas Mountains. The nomads live here for a half year in winter and spring. Tours from October to April.

Description of the Offer |

|
PROGRAM
Day 01: Arrival at Marrakech or Ouarzazate.
Assistance and transfer. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Marrakech or Ouarzazate / Tagdilt
Road transfer by minibus to Ouarzazate (by the Tizi n Tichka pass, 2260 m). We cross Qualaa M'gouna and Boumalne cities, then continuation to Tagdilt village (little village in the beginning of Saghro mountains. Mets our team of muleteers and cooker. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 03: Tagdilt / Amda-n-Oughyoul (5 H walk).
Early in the morning, easy climb of the northern slopes of Jbel Saghro (400 m). Panoranic view of the snowed High Atlas Mountains chain and mineral rocks of the Saghro Mountains. Camp in Amda n-Oughyoul.
Day 04: Amda-n-Oughyoul / Igli (2200 m). (4 to 5 H walk).
Crossing the Kouaouch pass (2500 m), here the landscape changes and we have a large view on all the Saghro Mountains as well as the Central High Atlas. Descending to the Igli. Overnight in the camp.
Day 05: Igli / Bab-n-Ali (2000 m) - Assaka-n-Aït Ouzzine (1800 m) (5 to 6 H walk).
We go down the gorges to reach the Bab-n-Ali site, where stand two rocks, like a natural door (Ali door ). Continuation to the Assaka n-Ait Ouzzine village.Camp.
Day 06: Assaka n-Ait Ouzzine - Ighazoune n Imlass - N'koub (5 to 6 H walk).
Along the Taoudachte river, we reach the Ighazzoune village then we continue with a good path up to N'koub. Camp.
Day 07: N'koub- Ouarzazate Or Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer by minibus or 4x4 to Ouarzazate or Marrakech via the Draa Valley (Tnsikht and Agdez). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Departure
Transfer to the airport and assistance at the outset.

THE LEVEL OF THE EXCURSION |
|
|
It is about a Trek without notable technical difficulty. It is necessary to be in a good physical condition and to be able to walk for 5 to 6 hours each day, with a quiet rhythm. There is always a light back bag where you can take the minimum (gourd, food of race, camera...) All the luggage and food are transported by the mules.If a medical problem (distortion for example)is to happen, it is always possible to call upon a mule. However, it should be known that the ground is not flat, that it is necessary sometimes to go up to climb apass and that you will find certain stages a little long... In short, you will certainly have physical feelings;so, it is necessary to have the desire and the spirit of hiking and walking.
The itinerary indicated will be able to undergo modifications imposed by the mean level of the group, or by the climatic conditions. |

A sleeping bag, a large bag for clothing, a small back bag for the day, walking shoes, crates, sandals for the bivouac, Kwe, polar, personal drugs, a gourd (1 litter or 2 litters), pastilles of water purification, sun lotion, a pair of sunglasses, cap, camera, a torch (frontal), spare batteries, toilet bag and other personal effects. |
